Scribe Media vs Wordsmith for nonfiction publishing
Scribe Media describes professional nonfiction writing, coaching, publishing and marketing for entrepreneurs, executives and experts. Wordsmith's current offer starts from manuscript work and a separately scoped managed release. If you need someone to help create the book, that is not the same purchase as publishing a draft you have written.

Is there already a manuscript?
Scribe's official description includes writing and coaching as well as publishing. An expert with ideas but no draft may need a service that helps develop the book through a sustained human engagement.
Wordsmith's managed pitch concerns taking a manuscript from final draft to stores, with the listed editorial and production work. It should not be presented as a much cheaper equivalent of a service that includes writing the book.
Separate publication from the business goal
A nonfiction book can support credibility, a professional practice or an existing audience. Those goals may require coaching, positioning or marketing work beyond producing files and store listings.
Ask each provider what concrete work it will deliver and who will do it. Do not treat a provider's prominent authors or promotional case studies as a forecast for your own book.
When Scribe Media is the better fit
Scribe Media may fit when you need its professional writing/coaching or expert-book service scope, not just manuscript software. Compare the actual engagement, human roles and deliverables.
Wordsmith is relevant when a manuscript already exists and its editorial or managed-production route fits your release. If you still need interviews, ghostwriting or business-positioning support, name that need instead of buying a mismatched editing workflow.
Make the choice on the actual scope
Wordsmith's separate managed publishing offer is $999 per book, paid once. Check the included services and manuscript fit; this is not the software subscription.
Wordsmith does not promise Scribe-equivalent ghostwriting, business-book coaching, branding, publicity or bestseller outcomes. Scribe Media is not Scribe process-documentation software.
