For an existing English-language prose manuscript with a substantial or final draft, where you hold the rights. The $999 offer is subject to fit and a written book proposal: editorial layers, simple print/PDF and EPUB interiors, cover concepts, revision rounds, proof checks, editions and timetable are agreed before payment.
We confirm publishing-account ownership, ISBN arrangements, and which platform fees, proof copies and shipping are included. Extra editions or work outside the agreed scope are itemized before acceptance. You keep your rights and royalties.
Writing a book from scratch, translation, audiobooks and complex illustrated layouts need a separate scope. Store setup does not guarantee stocking, readership or sales.

On the Manuscripts plan you do the publishing yourself, with Fred, Iris, typesetting and covers in the app. With managed publishing a person on our team runs the release for you: ISBNs in your name, the store listings, metadata, and a printed proof checked before it goes on sale. It is paid once per book and includes Fred's edit, Iris's readers, typesetting and cover. You keep every right and every royalty.
Yes, from Billing or the Stripe portal. You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for.
Your manuscripts stay where they are, read-only. You can open, read, export, and delete them. Chat, suggestions, and editing come back the moment you resubscribe. Essays fall back to the free plan.
Subscriptions can be cancelled any time and are not refunded pro rata. If something went wrong with a charge, write to us and we will sort it out.
